What is the concept of Open Table?
It is simply to highlight the need to intentionally see other people and reach out to them through opportunities to be and serve together. It is not an attempt to set up a program, but it is an attempt to remind and encourage us that the simple act of being together creates opportunities for all involved to grow up in God as an open spiritual family.
Here are some opportunities to do just that. What can you do to open your heart and table to share the love of Christ?
Invite
Stretch your heart and table by making room to connect with others. Invite people you don’t know well so you can allow them to know you as you seek to know them. The opportunities are as endless as your imagination! You will find yourself experiencing a greater awareness of Christ as you open your heart to intentionally reach toward those friends and family you don’t yet know.
