It is with gratitude that this Sunday NJ will no longer require face masks and social distancing in our worship service!

As you know we have been attempting to live out our calling as a church while at the same time abiding by state and local guidelines. In light of the guidelines that lift restrictions, we will have many people not wearing a mask. If you are uncomfortable with that, please feel free to continue wearing one. Also, we will continue to offer the online viewing option. We have learned that there are people that can connect online that would not be able to join us in person.

As we come together the sanctuary will look and feel different. We will still provide paces for family or for those who want to remain socially distant because we want to encourage an environment where we respect one another’s choices to wear the mask or not.

There are things we need to argue over and there are even things that churches need to divide over. However, this is not a hill to die on.

The choice to wear or not to wear is one that we should not at all be a place of judgment or disagreement. Let's continue to handle transitions with grace.

Our longing has been, since the beginning of Covid, that what was intended to drive us further apart can be an opportunity for growing closer than ever.

Other ministries of the church still have details to work out regarding the loosening of restrictions. We will make sure we keep you posted in the coming weeks on any other changes. But for today let's celebrate that Sunday you might get to see just how white is Diego’s beard or is it a mustache or maybe a goatee? So many questions to be answered!
