Lent: Open Door begins this week

Lent is a season where we can focus on who Jesus is and the sacrifice he made to remove the dividing curtain between us and God. But the reality is that God instructs us to foster our faith in Him in community, not alone . The writer of the book of Hebrews exhorts us to “consider how to stir up one another to love and good works…” (verse 24) because the development and progress of our faith is at stake. Whether we do this in person or virtually, we all can “stir up one another to love and good works”.

For this reason, we want to call you to participate with us and others through the following ways:

Weekly Open Door Gatherings

For the next 7 Wednesdays, beginning on February 17th, from 6:30-8:00pm, we will have times to pursue personal reflection, corporate worship, mediation around the Word of God, as well as times to listen to God together, intercession, discussion times, and Communion. A Zoom option will be available for you to actively participate with us.

An interactive Lent Reading Plan

You can join us as we read as a group a 40-day reading plan called “Experiencing Jesus Together Through Lent” using the YouVersion Bible app.

Praying and Meditating with Others

On Thursdays, at 8:30pm, join in person, Roman and Alina, for a time of meditation and prayer at the church.

Please join us as we kick off the Lent season this Wednesday, February 17th at 6:30pm.
