God showing love to THE PARENTS TOO

Last week (May 23) we had an amazing time of fellowship with the parents of many of our regulars at kids club.

We saw God graciously showing His love throughout the evening.

They say an image speaks louder than a thousand words, so here they are.

god is watching over me

When little B. entered the kids club with her dad, she could not stop singing: “God is watching over me, 24/7 He watches over me, my life is in his hands, He’s got great big plans, ‘cause He watches over me”. Her dad said: “She is always singing this at home and is always looking forward to coming here!”. We were encouraged that day that God is always working and that His word never returns void.

ARE WE GOING TO FIGHT?

Little K. was appalled! “Are we going to fight?”  She asked, as we explained the armor of God to the children. For the team it became obvious that the real nature of our battle against the enemy was becoming evident to the children.

As we explained the kind of battle that we face, she was relieved that God had provided an armor to help in the time of battle. God’s provision and love for his children became a palpable reality for her at that moment.

DID YOU REALLY SAy THAT?

One of our kid’s club mom, came to us a little confounded asking: “did you really teach that God is jealous? Or did my kid misunderstand?”. This was a God-given opportunity to share with her that the kind of jealousy that God feels for us is nothing like our human-distorted one.

That He loves us so much and created us with such a great purpose in His heart, that he went to extreme lengths to remove what was in the way for us to be together, by sending us Jesus.

She received this explanation gladly, and we witnessed how God uses every little bit of His word for His purposes.
