Prayer >

We believe that in order to “win and equip followers of Jesus who love God passionately, make disciples continually, and plant churches regularly as lives, families, and communities are transformed by the Gospel of Jesus” we need to pray individually and collectively as a people.

At Living Faith we also value your needs and concerns and are always ready to pray God’s presence, power and wisdom over every situation you may be facing. There are a few ways you can receive prayer and offer prayer to others.

“I so enjoyed the space as a Body to be still and to listen to God and to bring requests to him. A father shared with me that he prayed for his family to come back to church during the healing service and just last night his daughter asked if she could come to our church and be part of Children’s Ministry.”

ReQUESTING Prayer

We regularly encourage individuals, couples and families to receive prayer through any of the following avenues:

  • At the end of each Celebration Service on Sunday.
  • Contact your current pastorate leader and ask for prayer support regarding your needs or concerns.
  • Contact the office and request prayer by the elders (James 5:13-20) for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing; wisdom and making important life decisions; a spiritual blessing over your home; or other matter that you may consider critical in your life.
  • Email your prayer request directly to prayer@lfachurch.org to be shared with the larger body via our prayer chain.

LEARNING TO PRAY

At Living Faith we seek to provide resources to help you fight for your Christ-centered identity through prayer. Different prayer classes are offered throughout the year and anyone, regardless of your maturity in Christ, can join. Visit our 'Truth for Living' page for more details.

College of Prayer

Our church is a part of a worldwide denomination that seeks the advancement of the Kingdom of God in every corner of the world. The College of Prayer (COP) is one of the prayer champions in the movement. COP provides weekend modules throughout U.S.A. to encourage believers to seek the presence of God in community, learn biblical principles to deepen their prayer lives and to pray for communities locally, regionally and globally.
